OUR MISSION & VISION:
We strive to create a world of possiblities through education, exhibitions and public outreach programs in the contemporary arts. The center is a supportive and creative environment providing people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunities to create, study and present art, nurturing artists' careers in all stages of development and serving the community's art and cultural needs by expanding public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of art.

ABOUT US:
Art Mundo was formed in early 2009 with our first event being held at the popular AE Bean Backus Gallery & Museum. Art Mundo founders, Allie Comer, Deena Wynne, Sherry Horton and Ginny Piech Street organized three days of free mini-workshops, demonstrations, presentations and a community participation painting. The community's response was excellent and from there, Art Mundo secured a physical location at the ArtBank offering studio space, exhibitions, classes, demonstrations and a fun environment for artists & art lovers to network, share ideas and expand the cultural community.
